Sheryl

Sheryl Mallory-Johnson’s writing style can best be described as a multifaceted.  Her first novel, Sense of Love, is as courageous and truthful as Terry McMillan’s Disappearing Acts, with the depth and poignancy of Toni Morrison’s Love.

Mallory-Johnson’s second novel, "L.A. Summer: Friends ‘Til the Blood End,” is unparalleled. Fast-paced and reality based, this “edgy” new teen series speaks to the heart and soul of the hip-hop generation, capturing the spirit of teenage girls at a time in their lives when friendship, having fun, and boys are the center of their world.

Sheryl Mallory-Johnson was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Texas Southern University, and a Masters Degree in Social Work from San Diego State University.

After a career in child welfare, Sheryl chose to pursue her passion - writing real stories about real people. Her understanding of human behavior and relationship dynamics allows her to create convincing plots and characters that live and breathe on the pages.

Along with being a full-time novelist, Sheryl works as an associate professor, and provides book coaching and novel writing services to aspiring authors Learn2WriteRight.com.
