Dear Reader,
Now that my book launch is behind me and the future holds many untold stories awaiting life, I want to take a moment to thank each and everyone who showered me with love and support; and showed up in droves to purchase copies of my books.
For those of you who blogged, emailed, or called to say you couldn’t put down “Sense of Love,” and wanted more of Steve and Pat…, thank you!
For the many teens, and adults too, whose lives were disrupted because they couldn’t tear away from Stacy, Mikki, and Carlette’s wild and crazy summer antics…, thank you!
As a writer, all words of encouragement keep my mind eager and my fingers hungry to hammer out the next new and intriguing novel that captures the essence of the human experience.
At present, I am tweaking my third novel, slated for release winter 2010. In addition, the 2nd series of L.A. Summer: “L.A. Summer: Sweat & Tears” is slated for released May 2010. Be sure to check out a sneak preview of the sequel at the close of book one.
If you loved “Sense of Love” and “L.A. Summer: Friends ‘Til The Blood End”, you will love what’s coming next!
Stay Tuned!
Sheryl

What is it about love that brings out the best and worst in us? We can be the most rational minded, person in the room, with a Ph.D. in self-confidence… then love walks in and we lose it, questioning all that we know and all that we are. Beyonce’ said it best, “love’s got me lookin’ so crazy right now.”
Love will make us laugh one day, cry the next, and want to kill days later, without the slightest explanation for our irrationality. We can be crazy in love, madly in love, insanely in love, foolish in love, silly in love, hopelessly in love, or senseless in love.
It is the ambiguity of love that inspired me to write my first novel, “Sense of Love.” In this novel I get to the heart of the matter, exposing love and all of its intimate intricacies. So grab a copy, curl up under a chenille throw before a blazing fire, and experience true love through the eyes of Pat and Steve.
If you are in or have been “senselessly in love,” I want to hear about it. And keep it real, ladies. As I said to a friend the other day, “Love has no shame.” I am shamelessly in love with God, my husband, my children, and my family. Who are you shamelessly in love with?
